Autonomous design radiates individuality. The designer's signature is inextricably linked to the developed design, object, product or service. The design and development of the product may be commissioned but the product should always be imbued with the designer's personal themes.

Criteria: contemporary look & feel, concept, signature, personal themes in relation to the user, theme-related formulation, personal rendering reflecting the designer's theme also in commissioned work, great power of imagination, originality, visionary, creative, innovative.
