LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT

This oeuvre prize is given to a designer who may be considered ‘beyond category' and who has made a ‘most significant' contribution to the design profession. The winner will be selected by a very compact selection committee. Registration for this category is not possible.

CRITERIA

• Dutch nationality (or a lifelong residence in the Netherlands)
• impressive and outstanding oeuvre
• icon in his/her area of expertise
• example to and source of inspiration for young designers
• international orientation and commissioning clients
• applied design (communication/product/spatial)
• nearing the end of his/her career (65+)
