AWARD SHOW

On 17 October, the winners of the Dutch Design Awards enter the stage. This year, the Award Show is held in the Muziekcentrum Frits Philips in Eindhoven.

PRIZE-GIVING CEREMONY 2008

On 18 October, the decisive moment had finally come! After a couple of months of waiting, the names of those who would take one of the fiercely desired Awards home with him/her were revealed. All sixty-four nominees, the sponsors, and other guests were invited to the VIP meeting in the Designhuis in Eindhoven. Rob van Gijzel, Ronald Plasterk, and Alberto Alessi held a welcome speech.

The prize-giving ceremony took place in the Klokgebouw. Presenter Astrid Joosten invited the winners to the catwalk. In the presence of about 1,200 guests from the design world and other interested parties, 24 awards in total were presented.
