DUTCH DESIGN AWARDS

Dutch Design Awards (DDA) are internationally renowned annual prizes presented by a professional jury for the best in the field of Dutch Design. The DDA acts as a platform upon which the best in Dutch design – across the board – can be appreciated and displayed. DDA consists of a competition with a festive Awardshow on the 22nd of October in Muziekgebouw Eindhoven, an exhibition with work by finalists and winners during the Dutch Design Week 2011 (that will travel internationally later on), and the publication of the Dutch Design Yearbook 2011 in collaboration with NAI Publishers. The DDA is produced by Design Cooperation Brainport, a broad collaboration between various design organizations in Brainport which aims to stimulate and connect creative initiatives that strengthen the region’s (inter)national reputation in the field of top technology and design.
