This book tells the story of Mandy and Eva, two girls who were born as boys, in reverse order. Leafing forward, the reader goes back in time and sees the big change that makes every teenager mature into a young adult.

In collaboration with the photographer, Sybren Kuiper acts as a designer and co-author. In doing so, Kuyper has added an additional layer of significance to photography. The form and content are well matched. The story is told and composed in such a way that the reader can interpret two storylines. This matches the subject seamlessly. Sybren Kuiper infuses innovation into the genre of photo books through the way in which content and form come together.
