The Deleted City is an interactive visualisation of the archives of numerous Dutch web sites from GeoCities.
Committee
Richard Vijgen, information designer, has translated the GeoCities archive into an interactive visualisation. Deleted City goes far beyond similar projects. It uses the visual network structure more intensively. The processing of an enormous amount of data in The Deleted City is technically very difficult.
