‘Do Not Touch’ is an interactive music video clip realized through crowd sourcing. During the track ‘Kilo’ by Light Light, the viewer sees an increasing number of cursors swarming across the screen. Each time someone follows the instructions on the screen at donottouch.org, the cursor movements are recorded. The result: a very witty video in which social impacts are registered.
This is an innovative way of producing a video clip. The designers provide insight into human behaviour through humour. The possibilities of technology and social behaviour are combined in a surprising way, keeping the viewer enthralled by the video from the beginning to the end.
